Standardized Tests
Tests…
You’ve taken them all throughout school, probably quite a few of them, as a
matter of fact. So how are these things called "standardized tests" that you’ve
heard about different from the math, science, English and history tests you’ve
been taking since elementary school?
Standardized tests are tests that help to measure how prepared you are for
college. Most colleges require you to take specific tests in order to be
considered for admission (most require the ACT, SAT Reasoning Test, or SAT
Subject Test – check with the individual college to see which tests are required
to complete your application). Most are given on specific national test dates at
registered test locations.
