Winning Characteristics Scholarship - 2006-2007 Recipients
The students listed below are the recipients of the Making It Count “Winning
Characteristics” Scholarship for the 2006-2007 school year. Each student viewed
a Making College & Career Count presentation at their high school and then wrote
an essay demonstrating that they have developed at least three of the seven
Winning Characteristics while in high school.
The Winning Characteristics, which are identified and discussed in the
presentation, include: communication skills, organizational skills, leadership,
logic, effort, group skills and entrepreneurship.
For his outstanding demonstration of the Making College & Career Count “Winning
Characteristics,” this 2007 grad was awarded a $5,000 “Winning Characteristics”
National Scholarship:

awarded a $1,000 “Winning Characteristics” Regional Scholarship:

*For the 2007-2008 school year, Making It Count will award one national,
