Tough Questions To Ask On A Campus Visit

Asking great, appropriate questions during a college visit identifies your student as a thinker. That's a good thing, a way to be set apart from the wandering masses trampling across the campus during those tours and information sessions.

Asking questions that go beyond the obvious will also help you and your student sort out what the schools you are looking at truly have to offer. Click here for a printable list of the tough questions you and your student should ask when you’re on a college visit. Your student will undoubtedly want to add his or her own questions to this list as you both visit different college campuses. If possible, try to talk to current undergraduates as they are the real experts on campus and will provide more insight than any other resource.
