The Ultimate Road Trip

The Ultimate Road Trip: Campus2Career provides first-year college students with important information on how to survive their first college year and use their entire college experience to drive themselves toward future career success. This interactive, assembly-style presentation helps students recognize choices they can make at several important “stops” along the college journey to make the most of their future opportunities.

This FREE program is offered from June through October. A full-color workbook is provided for students to follow along during the presentation and to take with them as a future resource.

Based on time allowed for the presentation, some of the topics covered could include:

  • The importance of setting SMART goals
  • How to develop effective time-management skills
  • How to maximize academic performance
  • The importance of gaining experience through jobs and extracurricular activities
  • How to develop your “personal brand”
  • How to select the right major based on strengths, interest and the future job market
  • The benefits of test-driving potential careers through internships
  • The impact networking can have on future career opportunities
  • How to effectively manage stress
  • The importance of managing finances while in college
