What is the Ultimate Road Trip?
The Ultimate Road Trip is a FREE 50-minute, highly interactive, assembly-style
presentation for first-year college students. The program is delivered by a
professional speaker and students will be actively involved in engaging on-stage
activities. Students will also be provided with a guidebook to fill in during
the presentation that they can keep for future reference.

What information does the program cover?
The Ultimate Road Trip puts first-year students in the fast lane on the college
highway to success by providing them with valuable information on topics such
as:
- Managing time effectively
- The importance of getting good grades the first year
- Forming beneficial working relationships with professors
- Developing skills and characteristics that graduate schools and future employers are seeking
- Making a positive impact in clubs and organizations
- Getting valuable career experience through internships
- Avoiding some typical first-year mistakes

How many students can participate?
Our goal is for as many first-year students as possible to experience The
Ultimate Road Trip. Depending on the venue, we can accommodate very large groups
of students, in one or several presentations; however we have a minimum
requirement of 100 students per presentation.

How is the program free?
The presentation is available FREE to both the institution and the students
thanks to partnerships with some of the nation’s most respected companies. These
corporate partners have a vested interest in the success of today’s students and
have thus provided funding so that the message of The Ultimate Road Trip can be
delivered to as many students as possible.

How would the program work on my campus?
The Ultimate Road Trip is offered June through October and complements a variety
of activities, including orientation, welcome week, first-year student success
classes or other first-year programming. Once your Ultimate Road Trip is
scheduled, we provide a comprehensive Promotional Packet that includes
everything you need to let students, parents, faculty and the press know about
your upcoming presentation.
